YAY FOR DIY PROJECTS!

Steps:

Cold- Shoulder Tee- Zara + DIY
Sheer Pants- Forever 21
The Moody's Sunglasses- UNIF (Dolls Kill)
Bag- BCBG
Necklace- GlowWorm Shop

Who doesn't love DIY project!? I'm happy I finally get to share with you one of my DIY projects that is really quick and easy...all it takes it a scissors, curved edge (I used a french curve) and a sharpie or whatever thing that can make a mark. I'm always deconstructing & reconstructing my t-shirts because lets face the fact, sometimes it can get a little tiring wearing the same silhouette very often. I have a tons of all over print shirts so I'm always searching for new ways of wearing them without being too repetitive. This particular shirt is actually from Zara and believe it or not, it's from the male section of the store. Honestly, I thought that it was a pretty unisex all-over print shirt and I was so attracted to the confusing abstract print so why not? because I somehow always find myself attracted to the weirdest things in stores hahaha. I went for a more sleek and slightly bohemian inspired look which is perfect for walking around in the daytime.

Excuse My French

All Over Print Sun T-shit- Pray For Paris
UNIF Grail Platform- Dolls Kill
Necklace- Guess

Finally I get to debut my 'Pray For Paris' tee here on the blog...I've literally been dying to style this all over print tee since the day it arrived in the mail. "Pray for Paris" is an online UK based store that basically sells the best quality all over print t-shirts I've ever seen so far and their prints are always completely amazing with these complex digital prints that usually runs limited edition. The thing I love the most about them is how vibrant their prints are and how you're pretty much bound to stand out when wearing one of their t-shirt. They also sell beanies, bags and hats which are just as cool as their tee. I chose to style this look in these black pants with white side panels, mainly because I wanted to pull from the black and white 'PRAY FOR PARIS'  font on the t-shirt. I've been loving the look of ankle length pants for awhile now so I thought it would be cool to experiment with that aesthetic and re interpret it in my own way. Have you guys been keeping up with the shows for Fashion Week here in New York!? My favourite so far has to be Edun and Prabal Gurung! Really can't wait to see what else is in store for the rest of the Fashion Week.

A Place Without Fear, With No Moonlight

Top- She Inside
Skirt- Forever 21
Shoes- Coltrane Boots by Jeffrey Campbell

I have to say, I'm completely obsessing over this amazing tropical print tee that I got from She Inside. I've been on this printed tee look a lot since being in Jamaica and I'm loving every single bit of it. Wearing a great graphic tee here in Jamaica seems so fitting especially since its so hot here and all I want most times is to keep cool and thankfully this top did the trick. I chose to pair it with a navy circle skirt and knee high socks, which gave it a sort of a "school girl" kinda look.  I opted for very simple jewelry choices with a statement necklace that kind of blended against the graphic print of top. I'm really sorry about the inconsistent post for this whole week that I've been here in Jamaica, but I do so much in the days so I'm almost never around a computer. Hope you enjoyed this post and I'll be back to my regular daily post on Monday.

Never Trust A Happy Song

Baroque Inspired Tee- Chicwish
Tube Dress wore as Skirt- BCBG

This is a look I wore a couple about a week ago and totally forgot I took pictures of it and I'm so glad I found it in my archives because totally I loved this look! I've always been obessessed with all-over print tees and this one from Chicwish is currently my favourite one, mainly because it's black and gold (i loveee black and gold combinations). I wanted to capture a dark, romantic, sort of soft grungesque vibe ....so I decided for a change, I'd pair the tee with something long and flowy like this beautiful dress I got from BCBG a longg time ago (the picture does it no justice). People there is still a lot of time to enter my giveaway! just go to my last post to see how you can be apart of winning a Quay Australia Eyewear sunglasses. (here).

Code Blue

High Neck Crop Top- American Apparel
Full Moon Sheer High Low Top- Forever 21
Ombre Skorts- Designed and Created by me
Creepers- T.U.K
Rainbow Tatto Choker and Anklet- The Cobra Shop

After days of not being able to post regularly because of finals, I'm really happy to share a design of my own for the first time on the blog. I created this ombre skorts with a knit detail, for one of my final project and I'm so happy with the way it came out. I also made a futuristic inspired jacket to go with it but it was wayy too hot for me to wear that so I thought I'd just go ahead and style the skorts since it's something I'm wanted to buy for so long but couldn't find the perfect one to fit my style. Incase you haven't noticed already, I have been having a slight obsession with styling blue shades with black and I don't quite know how this obsession developed but I just go with it because I just really love the combination especially when it's like the combination I have going on in this post. I haven't had a chance of sharing this amazing! printed sheer top that I picked up a couple months ago and have been styling alot with high waisted shorts and sheer stockings and platforms. However, it is literally mind blowing how beautiful this top photographs well and is also very cool in person. I made sure to accessorized most of my jewelry on my arm mainly because I haven't been able to take off my tattoo chokers, so I just throw everything on my hands for arm candy. I hope you like this post as much I do and have a great weekend!
