This is a look I wore a couple about a week ago and totally forgot I took pictures of it and I'm so glad I found it in my archives because totally I loved this look! I've always been obessessed with all-over print tees and this one from Chicwish is currently my favourite one, mainly because it's black and gold (i loveee black and gold combinations). I wanted to capture a dark, romantic, sort of soft grungesque vibe ....so I decided for a change, I'd pair the tee with something long and flowy like this beautiful dress I got from BCBG a longg time ago (the picture does it no justice). Horizontal stripes are said to be a big no no when it comes to clothes, because it makes you look bigger than you actually are. However, I really don't care what the fashion gods say... because I absolutely love this dress! First thing, it reminds me so much of a very Tim Burton type of character...dark, corky and mysterious. It was a little windy when I wore this look so what better way to keep warm than to wear my oversized knit cardigan, its so comfy and has a nice bohemian quality to it, which I really love. I wanted to make this look very "Grunge Playful", by adding knee high stockings and pops of color in my jewelry choices. Even though this look has a very 60s boxy shift kind of vibe going on, I really don't mind because I sometimes love when my clothes are very loose fitting and allows me the breathe and move around easily. Blogspiration

I've finally got around to sharing some "blogspiration" here, which I've always wanted to, but for some I kept delaying it. Let me first say that these pictures are NOT owned by me and they're just photographs of editorials, throwback 90s and some other pictures that I've documented on my laptop from tumblr. Before I started a personal style blog, I was pretty much tumblr obsessed and that's where I'd store all my reference photos for some inspiration (My Tumblr). All the photographs above are just images that capture a little bit of everything my personal style is about. I usually don't like to putting a stamp on what my style is, because I feel like its always changing as I get older. However, the grunge, the hippie, the cycledelic and the eclectic have all played a huge roll in what my style has become. Coming from Jamaica and moving here in New York has definitely transformed what my style is... to an extent. I remember walking around back home it five different color combinations with bright blue stockings like nobody's business and I think its safe to say that is was just the fun colourful aspect of what my style was to become as I grew older. For sure,  it's going to be interesting to see how much I will evolve years to come. I'm glad I got to share this with you and I'll be back to regular posting tomorrow. Thanks for visiting!
