Two Sided Mirror

Jacket- Ann Taylor
Faux Leather Asymmetric Skirt-Romwe
Sweater- Zara

Nothing like a mini faux leather skirt. I wore this outfit around the beginning of November when it wasn't as cold as it is now. I'm honestly not quite a fan of the asymmetric skirt trend and I literally cringe at the site of the Zara versions that almost everyone and their grandmother owns....lol However, I somehow got drawn to this one from Romwe and decided to actually give it a try. Unfortunately, I overestimated the sizing so it was wayy to big for me, so I solved the problem by just wearing a belt to keep it in place. I wore it with a lightweight sweater tucked into the skirt and my favourite plaid blazer. Of course, I had to fit my hat somewhere in there because hats have literally become to go to when it comes to figuring out what to do with my hair.

Sorry, I'm Not Sorry

High Neck Top with embroidery- Vintage
"I'm Not Sorry" Military Inspired Jacket- Forever 21
Faux Leather Skirt- Nasty Gal
Shoes- Jeffrey Campbell Coltrane from Shopakira
Beanie- Zara

So this amazing military inspired jacket pretty much sums up the way I feel whenever I get dressed  up in each day and more than half the time I get these weird blatant stares from people especially when I wear my super high platforms, not only in New York but, even when I lived back in Jamaica and I simply don't care. I'm not sorry for who I am and I'm definitely not sorry for dressing the way I feel that's best for me to express myself... thats my speech for the day hahaha. Anyways, lets get to talking about what I'm wearing... clothes?? yeah! okay.

I love a great black and gold combination so much that I'd literally wear it everyday if I could but, I thought it would be nice if I switched it up a little and add an odd pop of of unexpected colour and what better way to do that than to wear red stockings against the black and gold!? I was a little sceptic about pairing the red and navy blue of the military jacket because I've never really worn that combination before but I thought why not just give it a try right!? Hope you all have a great weekend and HAPY FRIDAY!!

Streets Alight

Knitted Sweater Top- Zara
Faux Leather Flared Skirt- Nasty Gal
Light Jacket- Alexander Wang
Creepers- T.U.K
Space Invasion Stockings- Dolls Kill

Fall is in full swing and all I want to do is where easy pullover sweaters or anything knitted that's warm and fuzzy. In this look, it's pretty much one of the more polished outfits I've worn all weekend...even though I'm wearing creepers. I wore this look while hang out in the meat packing district in New York this weekend and you could definitely say this outfit is a cross between grunge and a preppy school girl look. The top I'm wearing is actually one that I bought from Zara sometime last fall but somehow only got to wear it once before this and I can't understand why because it's literally the softest knit ever! I love that its in an ivory colour instead of being plain white so it gave me a lot more options in terms of accessorizing, where I could incorporate my more feminine jewelry to give a soft touch to this outfit. I paired the top with my faux leather skirt that I've been dying to pull out of closet this fall and I finally got the chance it so you're definitely going to be seeing me wearing these babies a lot more often. Of course,  the look couldn't be completed without wearing my alien space invasion stockings! that I got from the lovely Dolls Kill.
