The Skyflowers We Call Snowflakes.

Sweatshirt- Similar
Cape- H&M
Pleated Faux Leather Skirt- H&M
Shoes- Jeffrey Campbell Primus Blackbox (Tiltedsole)

It's been snowing so much these past few days and I can't wait to go back to the warmth of Jamaica next week. It's going to be a bit strange because I'll be switching to posting Summer looks since it's always so hot and nice there. Anyways, I put together this grey scaled look a few days ago to run some errands...it's pretty much the aftermath of a mini snow storm. I wore a plain grey sweatshirt with some layers underneath for warmth, then I decided to break out my pleated faux leather skirt that I haven't had the chance of wearing for all of fall. I absolutely love the pleated details on the skirt...it makes for more interest and adds a bit of texture to the look. In case you're wondering, I did actually wear another thicker jacket over this look because it was freezing but for the purpose of this post I decided to go with just the cape and the gloves.

Every Siren Is A Symphony

Layering with a white dress shirt, faux leather moto jacket and a royal blue drop shoulder coat.

Moto Jacket- Forever 21
Coat- H&M
Shorts- Zara
Shoes- Jeffrey Campbell (Tilted Sole)

Super surprised by the comfort and quality of the faux leather moto jacket from Forever 21. I know many people have great opinions on shopping at Forever 21, and a lot of those opinions aren't necessarily positive. I never quite addressed this here on my blog before, mainly because I find it trivial and pointless to have a back and forth discussion about Forever 21. However, I will say...I've been a customer for years there, way before I became a blogger and they've really come a lot way in terms of improving the quality of there clothes and yes, it's all fast fashion but it's also very affordable.
Anyways, I scooped this jacket up about a month ago and have been wearing it non stop ever since. It's literally become apart of my skin! I have tons of a black faux leather jackets so, naturally once I laid eyes on this babe, it's almost instinctive for me to experiment with a new color of moto jackets. They also sell them in five other colours but I blue is very bold and makes a much better statement in my eyes. For a very polished attire, I wore a white dress skirt tucked in tailored shorts with opaque textured stockings.  I'm loving this combination because it's very rocker-esque but still a very classic polished look.
Have a great weekend

Barely Breathing

Geometric Top- Forever 21
Jacket- Vintage
Scarf- Jamaica
Faux Leather Pants- Daily Look
Shoes- Jeffrey Campbell Primus Black Box (Tilted Sole)

The more it gets colder here in New York, is the more I find myself packing on layers of my tops and basically wearing them as cardigans. This look is an example of typically how I layer with the buttoned tops in my closet. If you don't already know this about me, I rather wear very light airy clothes because I easily feel suffocated when I'm under too much heavy layers especially when it gets deep into the winter season. So to work around that, I simply decide the based top that I want to wear then find a blouse that can be opened with buttons and wear that as a cardigan. I'll just throw on a jacket over everything just to reassure my warmth. I wore a very light scarf in this look and the scarf I'm wearing is actually really cool because it's like a necklace as well! Anyways, I'm super happy it's friday and I can finally get some well needed rest from all the midterms this week. Hope you all go out and have some fun!

Castle Lights

Castle Light All-Over Printe Sweatshirt- Romwe
Shorts- Nasty Gal
Shoes- Primus Blackbox by Jeffrey Campbell
Hazel Eye Necklace- Glowwormshop

Just a quick update on the kind of look I've been wearing a lot these past few days. It's getting much colder here in New York so I've been wearing a lot of sweatshirts over sheered long sleeved collared tops to keep me warm enough. I'm yet to start putting on any heavy weight pants to cover my legs because for one, it's not that extremely cold and two, I prefer wearing shorts, skirts or dresses any day over pants. So, for this look I wore my usually stockings with a black shorts and slipped on my newly found favourite pair of shoes by Jeffrey Campbell. These shoes took me like a day to break-in and is super comfy, yet gives me that oh so great grunge look that I seemingly always do. Anyways, I'm off to a busy days so enjoy yours!
