Sleep Until The Sun Goes Down

Sweater- UNIF
Hat- Bebe
Shoes- Creepers by T.U.K

It's been awhile since I've posted a dominant white with black ensemble so I'm sharing this look I wore a few weeks ago to go strolling around Manhattan. I wore one of my favorite pullover sweater from UNIF because I simply can't get over how perfect and warm it is... I then layered it with this fuzzy off white jacket that I've had for such a long time and comes in handy when I need a change of texture in jackets to wear for the day. Something about the two textures of the jacket and sweater makes this look interesting however, white on white tends to sometimes look a little flat so I incorporated a bit of patterns to the look white my geometrical cardigan that I wore as a shawl rather than an actually cardigan.
Let me know what you think in the comments below of this look and if you have any suggestions on new ideas of posts fashion related that I could share on here. Have a great day.

The Thrill

Shoes- Zara
Varsity Jacket- Forever 21
White Jumper- Vintage

It's been so snowy and gross in New York all week, and sadly that's had an adverse effect on my mood since all I really want to do on a snow day is stay in bed and watch my favourite tv shows. However, I decided to whip up a full black and white ensemble inspired by these lovely boots from Zara. From the very moment I saw these shoes, it was pretty much heaven sent. They're a much cheaper version to the Giuseppe Zanotti ankle boots (here), I still find the one from Zara very appealing and unique in itself. Though I'm pretty much wearing a mini skirt in this post, I actually wore a ton of layer that day so surprisingly, I got away with wearing a skirt in the cold and was perfectly warm. I know I'm going to have so much fun styling these shoes because I can already think of so many items in my closet right now that would pair perfectly with the killer shoes.

Island In The Sun

Top- Forever 21
Skirt- H&M
Shoes- UNIF Lost Sole Boots (here)
Hazel Eye Necklace- Glow Worm Shop

I'm loving every moment of this vacation back home in Jamaica...I know I'll definitely be sad when I have to go back to the extremely cold weather conditions back in New York. On this particular day it was literally super windy and sunny at the same time...typical me, wore a skirt that few up with the wind at every chance possible so that explains why for the first time I cracked a huge smile because I had such a hard time keeping my skirt from flying up for this shoot. I've literally been living in mini skirts and dresses while being here because everyday here is like a melting pot so staple pieces such as skirts, tees, dresses and shorts are a must have when it comes to dressing here in Jamaica. I wore a tie dyed loose top tucked into this skirt for a perfect day of lounging around a beach club that had such an amazing view of the horizon.
I know this might seem a bit weird, but I wore my UNIF lost sole boots with white white socks...because for some reason I couldn't resist wearing it with this outfit. I haven't been wearing too many layers since being here because in all honesty if I could wear a swimsuit everyday...I would. Anyways, I'm off to shop for some local jewelry and then meet up with some friends afterwards.

Bohemian Rhapsody

BlueVelvet Crop Top- American Apparel
Fringe Kimono- Necessary Clothing

I'm pretty much the type of person who is overly obsessed with anything fringe, especially on kimono...it's literally my weakness and sometimes I have to try hard to talk myself out of going crazy and buying everything fringe. This kimono that I'm wearing has to be my best one to date! I really love that it has aztec-like print all over it, with black fringe trim detailing along the hem line. I decided to pair this lovely kimono with a bright blue velvet top that is one of my recent purchases at American Apparel. I've recently been head over heels for velvet tops and skirts, especially when its a very simple top/skirt. I added the blue as a pop of color and with the velvet texture it makes the look a whole lot more interesting, giving depth to the ensemble. For my accessories, I wanted to add  hints of gold accents since this whole look could have quickly turning into an "all black" combination. For those of you who have been asking... I didn't cut my locks, it's just all pinned up in the back with the front looking a bit longer. I think it's important for me to kind of change up the styles I do with my hair because sometimes I get really tired of it. Anyways, I'm off to a busy day of work and school so I hope you enjoy this look and feel free to leave a comment down below.
