Serving a semi all white look today. When I received this white top with an art pop inspired tiger print all over, I was dying to wear it instantly mainly because the pop of colour against the white is pure perfection. I then paired the top with a loose fitting shorts that I'll possibly be wearing a whole lot this summer because it brings such a light airy vibe and is super comfortable. I wore this look one day when I was strolling around Soho...funny enough it rained exactly after I was finish shooting this look. 

Its so warm now in New York, all I want to wear these days are loose lightweight dresses that hangs from my body so I'll share some of those looks with you soon. 

So far my summer has been going good, I've been hanging out with friends mostly and just exploring New York like never before. Sadly its raining and ugly today so I may just stay in bed and watch movies hahaha.

During my final days in New York before heading back home for the Christmas vacation, it was surprisingly bearable outside in terms of the weather. So to run some last minute errands, I slipped on this cute maxi skirt with an embroidered sheer panel and paired it with a sleeveless ribbed top. Because I was still a bit cold outside, I wore my thick black opaque stockings and a faux leather jacket in a pop of color to add a bit of brightness to the look since I was basically wearing all black. My hair was super curly and freshly done which is a good change from me always wearing it straight and messy. I'll be sharing some summer looks that I've been wearing in Jamaica very soon.

I've been missing home a whole lot and one day I was staring at my multi-coloured glass clutch that I got in Jamaica, then I realized that I have yet to actually shared it any of my posts. So, I decided to build a whole outfit around it ...dedication to my culture I suppose. I wore my black spider weed tee with this bold pop of green and basically combined it with all black. I really didn't want to take away the distraction from the clutch which might I add, is fantastic! it's made of these tiny rectangular painted glass in yellow, green and red, which are colours of significance to the Rastafarian movement. I think what I love the most about the outfit is that it steams off a very calm mood and the pop of these bright colours feels like paint being splashed on a blackboard.

Can You Love Me Again

Just wanted to give a quick update of a look I wore a few days ago. I literally pulled the whole thing together in like five minutes basically because I was super late for work but, soon afterwards I realized how much I actually liked the pieces I put together. This is really more of a casual look using the light blue wash of the denim as the pop colour against all the black shades. I love to layer light weight pieces because it just makes things a little more interesting so I wore another one of my Bob Marley tee...rip the sleeves off to make it into a tank and layer it with one of my favourite thrift finds. I love that the print of the tee is like peeking through all the tiny holes of the blouse and added the touch of the light wash denim skirt with the coolest placed buttons makes the look have a more fun and quirky vibe without being too all over the place. Hope you all are having a great weekend, I've been so busy and exhausted but I'll survive!

I absolutely love when I do all black looks, especially when there is some texture added to it that makes it just a little more interesting. As much as this is a look I love a lot, it's pretty much my usual attire so it's kind of one of my more boring looks...at least to me. But no worries I have a lot more great looks coming up later on this week. I don't have much to say, other than HAPPY 4TH! go eat and party it up and go to work with a hang over the next day hahaha.
