Sunny but still a cold day. When I had put this look together, I never really thought that this slightly odd tobacco brown colour would pair well against the pale pink of my top. It's not quite the colour palette that I'd wear on a regular basis however, I think the combination of the two came out quite lovely. I've had this blazer for such a long time and it suddenly reappeared in my closet out of nowhere so, naturally I had to put it to good use and layering it under a big coat...or like in this post where I layered in under a black cape. It's friday and I'm so happy this stressful week of classes is finally over so I can relax and rejuvenate for this weekend...maybe visit a few galleries around the area. I remember wearing this look with the attempt of wearing less clothes but still sort of have that "I don't want to show my body look". It's been extremely hot in New York these pass few days and all I want to do is wear loose dresses and shorts. I wore a spaghetti strap tank top and tucked it into one of my favourite pair of high waisted shorts....I have to say, I never thought I'd really love this purple and metallic mint green combination. Though I loved the pair together, I felt as if the look needed more depth so I overlaid it with one of my awesome thrift finds! this black meshed top with floral shapes cute out in it. I finally got to share with you my T.B.A ankle boots called "Rocks". I really love its cut out detail at the back of the shoe and I can't wait to post more looks with them. PS. You know me and my mixing print experimentations already...so this is another one I did with polka dot and geometric square shapes. I will agree that this look is a bit loud and in terms of the clashing of the prints however, I basically just went with the flow and tied the two prints together by wearing a black knee high stockings and the perfect summer shorts. I threw on some reflector sunnies from Zero UV and my holographic shoes and my outfit was complete hahaha. The shorts I'm wearing is one that I quickly pull for on hot summer days before it's so comfortable and is just the right fit for me. You can also get the same shorts in a lighter shade at Skinny Bitch Apparel. Even though, I think Newcomdigi actually sells the light shade to the shorts and a much cheaper price....there goes your summer deal! Anyways, I'm completely exhausted already and the week has just begun but I know I'll snap out of it pretty soon.

Just updating with a quick outfit post that I wore on the weekend to meet up with some friends to pretty much chill in Soho. On the weekends I like to wear clothes that are very casual and easy to wear depending on what I'm doing. This shorts is something I haven't been able to keep my hands off because its so perfect for summer hot weather and I can wear it with anything for days when I feel like dressing very laid back. I added something that has become sort of a signature for me on the blog and that is, adding a graphic tee, just to spice up the outfit a little and what better graphic tee to wear than a Bob Marley tee!? These shorts are actually one of my recent online purchases and it's everything I expected it to be. I wanted a shorts that was very loose fitting, denim,high waisted and a very retro...and that is exactly what I got.  I got them on Ebay by chance of online browsing and surprisingly the quality of these shorts are extremely good and well made, so the fact that it came from Ebay really didn't matter to me. I wanted to build a whole black and gold ensemble around these shorts, so I wore a body hugging high-neck top which could be wore for a day time look and could also be transitioned into an outfit for a night out by just adding a leather biker jacket and a pair of platforms. I'll forever love black and gold combinations because there is something so polished and classic about it that I absolutely love.
