Stare Into The Sun

The moment when you find an item in your closet that you thought you've lost forever. That was my experience a few weeks ago when my oversized knit cardigan resurfaced in my closet while I was moving.

Reflector sunglasses are the perfect mix between a futuristic and hippie vibe...maybe that's why this summer I've been sporting more of my reflector sunglasses more than ever plus they make for such a fun way to spice up a look that would otherwise be very simple.

I had family in town for most of last week, hence I took a short break from my daily blogging. I had so much fun and miss them already. Nevertheless, I'm posting this look I work while I was still living in Manhattan. I took a walk to Chelsea Piers to clear my thoughts and to just relax since it was towards the beginning of my Sumer break. Since New York's weather fluctuates so much, I wore this warm and cozy oversized cardigan over a simplistic mini dress with an all over aztec print. If you can recall from previous posts, I remember sharing a look I wore with the cropped top version of this dress, see (here). Well, a few weeks after buying the cropped top version, I fell in love with the concept of putting it onto a flared spaghetti strapped dress and the rest is history.
I like to wear looks such as this, as I feel quite comfortable throughout the day and its one of those Summer looks that are toned down with just the right amount of accessories. I have lots in store for the rest of the week so make sure to stay tuned!

Sippin On Sunshine

Chiffon Blouse- Vintage
Turtleneck Top- Forever 21
Skirt- H&M

Sunglasses-Zero UV

Oh how I missed wearing this reflector sunglasses on warm sunny days. Though the weather has been pretty much up and down here in New York, the day I wore this look was surprizingly really nice sunny day! I got so excited that I had to walk around the area and snap some pictures as well.
So for today on the blog, I'm giving a pink and black ensemble with a touch of green/blue shades. I'm not quite sure what possessed me to actually wear pink but sometimes it's good to switch things up a bit so, I kind of just went with the flow and didn't really question it too much.
This was just a pretty quick post before a head out to my classes for today, I have three more weeks left of school and I couldn't be more happy!

Colour On The Wall

High Waisted Shorts- Newcomdigi
Holographic Shoes- "Zoe" by Miista (Solestruck)
Spiked Choker- ShopLockhart
Sunglasses- Zero UV

You know me and my mixing print experimentations already...so this is another one I did with polka dot and geometric square shapes. I will agree that this look is a bit loud and in terms of the clashing of the prints however, I basically just went with the flow and tied the two prints together by wearing a black knee high stockings and the perfect summer shorts. I threw on some reflector sunnies from Zero UV and my holographic shoes and my outfit was complete hahaha. The shorts I'm wearing is one that I quickly pull for on hot summer days before it's so comfortable and is just the right fit for me. You can also get the same shorts in a lighter shade at Skinny Bitch Apparel. Even though, I think Newcomdigi actually sells the light shade to the shorts and a much cheaper price....there goes your summer deal! Anyways, I'm completely exhausted already and the week has just begun but I know I'll snap out of it pretty soon.
