Shoes- UNIF Das Boots

Since being back in New York, I've been dressing a lot laid back and freakishly different from a usual crazy grunge or hippie inspired looks. Not sure why, I guess at times my style turns a whole 360 at random times. However, I decided to share one of the more casual and laid back looks that I've been wearing all week since being back in the big city. I don't know if you notice, but I rarely wear jeans pants...(fun fact) I actually hate them. Why? well for one, ever since I was younger they've given me crazy rashes for some strange reason so as a replacement I basically where imitations or just regular cotton pants. These that I'm wearing are are super comfy and easy to move around in, which is perfect for me because I like my clothes to be comfortable. I changed it up by wearing platforms and a mix of questionable print combinations....come on, what did you expect? you expected to see a 100% normal casual look?

Just updating with a quick outfit post that I wore on the weekend to meet up with some friends to pretty much chill in Soho. On the weekends I like to wear clothes that are very casual and easy to wear depending on what I'm doing. This shorts is something I haven't been able to keep my hands off because its so perfect for summer hot weather and I can wear it with anything for days when I feel like dressing very laid back. I added something that has become sort of a signature for me on the blog and that is, adding a graphic tee, just to spice up the outfit a little and what better graphic tee to wear than a Bob Marley tee!? This is a post capturing a more laid back casual look for me. I remember waking up not feeling like leaving my apartment but I had to go to my internship...therefore, I had to find something to wear. So I grabbed two extremely bright colours and collided them together to form this bold pop of color against the darkness of my pant. Sometimes I love to wear bold colours like red and as a bit of a change up palette to my outfits. It's kind of unexpected but I think that's what I like the most about it also, I really like the very Urban quality of this outfit which I give thanks to one of my favourite cardigans. I kept it pretty simple with the shoes by wearing flats and the excessive amount of jewelry I have on, is just a signature that I can't force myself out of.
