Walking Dreamer

Black and lace has always been such a go-to look for me…whether during the Summer, Fall or Winter. One weekend in Brooklyn I decided to go for a dark witchy look, with enough chiffon pleats and a feminine aura.

I almost never wear midi length skirts because it can sometimes come off a bit awkward looking on me but, when I found this skirt about a month ago in Forever 21 I was pretty surprised that the length didn't bother me as much…its slowly becoming one of my favourite piece in my closet.

Lace Top- Nasty Gal
Pleated Skirt- Forever 21
Boots-Zara

Though I'm currently revamping my style and closet, this was a look I wore few weeks ago while prancing around Williamsburg in Brooklyn. It was very sunny yet I'm not quite sure what possessed me  to wear a full on black attire. However, the fact that everything I had on was very lightweight and airy, made it so much easier for me to go through the day without sweating like a pig.

I kept it pretty low key on the accessories because I really wanted the beauty of the lace to speak for itself rather than overpowering everything with loads of jewelry. So since I had a bit of a low cut top, it was only right to add a bit of a statement piece around my neckline as the main accessory.
Anywhos, I'm back to being super busy as I'm back in school again, finishing up my BFA p.s I already got a bolt load of homework!
For any of my followers back in school, wishing you the best of luck and thanks for visiting!

Chasing Pavement

Top- Vintage
Black Tunic- Vintage
Distressed Denim Vest- Thrift
Envelope Clutch- Nasty Gal

These days I've really been taping into wearing more easy breezy and effortless casual looks...mainly because school has started and I've also been working part time so whatever outfit that I can pull together quickly without looking like a hot mess, I just go with it. Whenever I need a very laid back outfit, I always seem to pull for my creepers and a loose fitting dress. I wore this outfit while running a few errands in the city and though I still has a little summer vibe going on in this post, I still threw in a little touch of fall in the whole look to show how a casual look like this can be a great transitional look, as we are approaching the fall season.

Cupid's Chokehold

Skirt- Romwe
Jacket- Forever 21
Shoes- UNIF Grail Platforms (Dollskill)

Here's a look at a outfit I wore a few days ago while doing some little retail shopping in the city. I've been dying to wear this all-over print skirt from Romwe, for the longest time but I could never really find the perfect top to pair with it. I finally came to realize that there isn't any real "perfect" top to pair it with so I went with a soft coloured sleeveless crop top from American Apparel, which allowed the beauty of the skirt to shine through. I'm pretty much obsessed with any clothing item that has some sort of graphical print all over it...especially when it's as cute as this skirt! I also wanted to show how transitional this look can be for the fall by just throwing on a faux leather jacket. School starts back today for most people, including me. As much as I was starting to love not having any sleepless nights working in the studio at school, I was kinda missing it just a tad bit. I hope you all have a great week and I'll be sure to share all my back-to-school outfits on here very soon.
