Clair De Lune

Sweatshirt- Similar
Skirt- Minty Jungle
Boots- Zara

I've pretty much convinced myself that Spring is here already regardless of what the actually reality is here in New York. However, because I don't want to freeze to death, I'm wearing more Spring colours on a lot of my upcoming blog posts which is a pretty big change since "all black" has been my theme colour pretty much the whole Winter season. For this look, I'm wearing very light pastels on top that fades into this beautiful black mesh skirt. I've really been loving light blue more and more...I find it to be such a pure and happy colour. The faux leather vest I'm wearing was actually a piece I snatched from my mother's closet when I went back to Jamaica during the Christmas holidays...I love it so much, especially because of its unexpected silk chiffon detailing in the back. I kept it pretty "simple" when it came to accessorizing with jewelry...the light/delicate touch of the stone necklace was just enough to make this look a perfect transitional look from Fall to Spring.
I hope you all had a great weekend and wishing you a great week!

PS. Let me know what you think of the new banner for my site...I got really tired of the old one.

Holding On To The Everlasting Waves

Tsunami Print Sweatshirt- Romwe
Skirt- Similar

This is the first of the pictures I took while visiting Charlotte over the weekend  for thanksgiving. I miss it so much, so beautiful there and I definitely have a photo diary coming up later on this week of photos I snapped of the area. It was pretty sunny when I wore this look but was still very cold so wearing my this sweatshirt from Romwe definitely came in handy. I have so much love for sublime prints and I've done a few posts with other cool sublime prints, (you can see here or here ). I just can't get over how vibrant the colours of these prints are...not to mention how realistic the print seems.
For a more flowy, carefree look, I wore a sheer pleated maxi skirt and combat boots. This combo has such a relaxed and easy going vibe which I really love and I can't wait to share more from my trip this coming week. I hope you all had a great holiday for those who celebrated.

Castle Lights

Castle Light All-Over Printe Sweatshirt- Romwe
Shorts- Nasty Gal
Shoes- Primus Blackbox by Jeffrey Campbell
Hazel Eye Necklace- Glowwormshop

Just a quick update on the kind of look I've been wearing a lot these past few days. It's getting much colder here in New York so I've been wearing a lot of sweatshirts over sheered long sleeved collared tops to keep me warm enough. I'm yet to start putting on any heavy weight pants to cover my legs because for one, it's not that extremely cold and two, I prefer wearing shorts, skirts or dresses any day over pants. So, for this look I wore my usually stockings with a black shorts and slipped on my newly found favourite pair of shoes by Jeffrey Campbell. These shoes took me like a day to break-in and is super comfy, yet gives me that oh so great grunge look that I seemingly always do. Anyways, I'm off to a busy days so enjoy yours!
